• What day of the week is the Fleet/Lease Sale?

  • GAA's Fleet/Lease Sale is EVERY Wednesday at our Main Facility, 3907 West Wendover Ave.

• What time does the sale start?

  • On Wednesdays we kick the day off with our Damaged and Disabled sale at 8:30 am.  At 9:00 am our first two fleet/lease lanes start, lanes 15 & 16.   The other fleet/lease lanes, 14 through 11 start at 9:30 am. Dealer Consignment lanes begin at 10:45 am with lanes 10 through 7.  Lanes 6 through 1 begin at 11:00 am.

• What lists are available and where can I find them?

  • Utilizing this website you can go to our GAA Dealers tab and view, sort and print inventory lists and sale books either by search inventory or lane summary. The inventory is updated approx. every 30 mins, this is the most efficent and complete listing available at any given time.  By selecting Print a sale book you will get a listing very similiar to the one you can pick up on sale day. On Tuesday, the day before our Fleet/Lease "WEDNESDAY" sale you can pick up a book in the lobby of the auction facility during regular business hours.  If you stop by after 5pm you can pick up a book out front of the facility in the blue boxes or at the guard house. You can also contact a member of our Marketing Team if you would like a copy of a book faxed or emailed to you at 1-800-772-9898 ext. 4. 

• Can I bring a guest to the auction? Why doesn't the auction allow retail customers?

  • GAA has set a standard of "no retail customers on the premises" to offer a business atmosphere for buyers/dealers to deal with each other one on one, and as a way to ensure wholesale vehicle pricing.  This policy is strictly enforced.

• Can I bring my child with me to the auction?

  • GAA does not allow children at the sale.  Due to the fast pace nature of the auction and the potential for injury it is in everyone's best interest that we do not allow children at the sale.

• Is there a lot map available?

  • Lot maps are available from our New Dealer Registration department during regular business hours as well as the guard house at the main facility at 3907 West Wendover Ave.

• Does GAA offer any CLOSED factory sales?

  • Greensboro Auto Auction offers a closed factory sale EVERY Thursday.  Alternating Thursdays GAA will offer either a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Closed Factory Sale or a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Closed Factory Sale. All Thursday Closed Factory Sales are held at the Original Facility on Tri-City Boulevard and begin at 10am. GAA also offers a closed, franchise dealer only Subaru sale when inventory is available.  This sale is held on Wednesdays at the main facility on Wendover Avenue. To attend one of these sales you must be a factory dealer for the franchise that is selling that day.

• Does GAA offer any OPEN Factory Sales?

  • GAA offers Open Factory Sales for Kia, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Subaru. Kia & Mitsubishi are usually the first Wednesday of every month starting at 9:30 am. Hyundai is usually the second Wednesday of every month starting at 9:30 am.  All of these sales are open to all dealers, franchise and non-franchise.  For more details visit the "CALENDAR" or the "GAA DEALERS" tab of our website.  Utilizing the "LANE SUMMARY" option will point you directly to the inventory and give you any promotional information for that sale date.

• Does GAA offer shuttle services?

  • Shuttle services are availble as follows: Pick up from the airport is available Tuesdays between 12 noon and 5:00 pm.  On sale day, Wendesday and Thursday, service is available to pick you up and take you back to your hotel as well as to take you to the airport for your flight. GAA does not offer shuttle or pick up services on non-sale days.  If you are returning to GAA to pick up vehicles or are sending a driver to do so, you will need to make arrangments to get to our facility. • Does GAA help make hotel reservations and do they have special "auction" rates?

  • GAA works closely with area hotels to try and secure the best rates possible for our customers.  GAA's main facility is situated near many hotel options along with dining and shopping choices.  You can either book the room yourself by utilzing the HOTEL section of our website and asking for the "auction rate" or any one of our Marketing Team members will be glad to help you find just the right place for your needs.
